MyVines ("we", "our", or "us") operates the MyVines mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password to authenticate your access to the App.

Wine Collection Data: We store information about your wine collection that you choose to enter, including wine names, vintages, regions, tasting notes, and ratings.

Photos: With your permission, we access your device's camera to allow you to photograph wine bottles and labels. These photos are stored locally on your device and/or in your personal account for your wine collection management.

Purchase Information: If you subscribe to premium features, our payment processor (RevenueCat) processes your payment. We do not store your credit card or payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the App's functionality
• To manage your wine collection and fridge inventory
• To sync your data across devices (if you opt in)
• To process subscriptions and purchases
• To improve our App and user experience

Camera Permission

We request camera access solely to allow you to take photos of wine bottles for your personal collection. Photos taken through the App are:

• Used only for managing your wine collection
• Stored locally on your device or in your personal cloud account
• Never shared with third parties for advertising or other purposes

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For user authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the legal drinking age.
