Learn how to delete your MyVines account and understand what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly within the MyVines app:

  1. Open the MyVines app on your device
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top corner
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted
This action is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

What data is affected

Data Type What Happens
Authentication account Deleted — Your sign-in credentials are permanently removed
Wine collection Deleted — All wines, tasting notes, and ratings are removed
Fridge inventory Deleted — All fridge and storage data is removed
Photos Deleted — All wine bottle photos stored in the cloud are removed
Subscription status Retained by provider — Managed by Google Play; cancel separately in Play Store settings

Account deletion is processed immediately. All personal data stored in our database is permanently removed and cannot be restored.

If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store before deleting your account to avoid further charges.

Can't access the app?

If you've already uninstalled MyVines or are unable to access your account, you can request account deletion by contacting us directly.

Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate and delete it. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
